Jerry Gene Stanley May 9, 1972 ~ September 14, 2013
Jerry Gene Stanley, 41, Marion, died at 5:40 p.m., Saturday, September 14, 2013 in the IU Medical Center, Indianapolis. He was born in Las Vegas, Nevada to W.L. and Mitsuko ‘Michi’ (Kimura) Stanley, Jr.
Jerry graduated from Marion High School in 1990 and played the trombone in the Marion High School Marching Band.
He graduated with honors from Rose-Hulman and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science in 1994.
Jerry was an assistant manager at GameStop at the Five Points Mall in Marion, Indiana for 9 years. Jerry was a website designer and owned and operated Family Computer Services in Marion, Indiana. He also owned and operated Exotic Gardening Farm & Wildlife Habitat in Marion, Indiana where he resided with his wife and beloved pets.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Sheri Ann Richerson; 4 step children, 3 grandchildren, parents, W.L. & Mitsuko ‘Michi’ Stanley, Jr.; brother, David Stanley; nieces, Aleciyah, Andreana, & Tiffany Stanley; nephew, Tanner Stanley & Trevor Kendall.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Toshio & Yoshiko Kimura.
Funeral Service is at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, September 21, 2013 at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Avenue, Marion, IN.
Visitation will be from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Saturday, September 21, 2013 at the funeral home prior to the service.

I just started reading your blog. First I wanted to send you my condolences for your loss. I hope that you continue to find strength and peace through it. Thank you, also, for the helpful gardening resources. Although we have a small garden at home, we're just starting to get into it and I really enjoy reading more ideas on what we can do.

I am struggling right now because gardening was something the two of us did together and this garden was started by both of us.
