I wanted this for my husband who is 175 pounds. It fits him and is actually a bit large. It is summer here so it was way too hot for him to wear this over regular hunting clothes but it was a loose enough fit that won’t be a problem. It is a full safety harness with a pretty REALTREE vest attached. It comes with a lineman’s climbing strap and tree strap.
The vest is not thick but rather a thin, lightweight material. It is made of 60% cotton and 40% polyester. It has two large pockets that are perfect for carrying the extra straps in, emergency flares, a cell phone or other similar sized items.
It is an ideal safety harness for use with tree stands – and something that you really do need if you use any type of tree stand. A fall could cause serious injury or death and this item is designed to provide safety in the event of an accidental fall.
It was easy enough to put on and take off. It was comfortable to wear and he likes it.
All of the seams were tightly sewn. It comes with instructions and a DVD that talks about safety vests and tree stand safety. The DVD pretty much covered all the safety information you need to know before you go hunting off ground.
I really recommend this vest – and if you know anyone who hunts off ground this would make an excellent gift for them.
