This is the first crossbow I have owned or shot. It did come unassembled, but my husband was able to put it together in a timely manner. He had no previous experience but the instructions were clear and easy to follow. Everything that you need to get started comes in this kit – 4 16″ aluminum arrows, wax, stringer, padded sling, quiver and cocking rope – so once it is assembled you can use it right away without needing to buy anything else.
My husband and his friend shot it first and had no problems at all – they even hit the target without doing any adjustments. I missed the target but only because I need to practice however it was easy to use and a lot of fun. I look forward to getting to use it more as the weather warms up. This crossbow is very durable, well-made and in my opinion a great buy. This would make a wonderful gift but do be aware the person does need to be over the age of 18 to own a crossbow.
