Disclaimer: I received this item at a reduced price in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own.

Sheri Ann Richerson from ExperimentalHomesteader.com is joined by Jeffrey Rhoades who assembles and talks about the Leader Accessories Firewood Rack that she received for review.

This firewood rack from Leader Accessories comes in a box unassembled. The pieces have styrofoam wrapped around them at various areas so they do not get all scratched up during shipping which I appreciate. The cover is wrapped in plastic so it does not get dirty or torn during shipment. The pieces of this firewood rack fit snuggly in the box which keeps them from banging around. Be prepared that this does mean it is a little harder to pull them out of the box – but that is ok. I could have opened the box on both ends and the side had I needed to.

This is the second firewood rack that I own and this one is superior in two ways – first of all the metal bars are thicker and sturdier but even more important is that this one has a cover. The cover is loose enough to easily fit over the firewood rack and even accommodate wood that is larger than the rack itself which is nice. There are two air holes on either side of the cover – but not to worry – the flaps that cover them prevent water from getting inside. The bottom of the cover is adjustable so you can snug it down to keep it from blowing away in high wind once it is on the rack. There are also velcro straps the secure the cover to the bars of the rack.

The rack holds the wood several inches above the ground so even if your ground is prone to slight flooding like mine is your wood is going to remain dry. The front cover does roll up and attach to the top so it is out of the way when you put firewood onto the rack or remove it from the rack.

This is easy to assemble and comes with all the tools you need. I am very happy with it and do recommend it.
