This is a very nice crossbow with a lot of power. It has a draw weight of 175 pounds which is almost more than I can pull but my husband does just fine with it. I really like the Vista Camo color. It is bright and very pleasing to look at in comparison to some of the other camo colors. It has an anti-dry-fire mechanism which is nice because the last thing you want to do it dry-fire a crossbow. It comes with everything you need to get started using it – a scope, a quiver, a padded sling, four 20″ aluminum arrows, a tube of rail lube wax and cocking rope. It does require some assembly but that is easy enough.
This is the assembly video:
The bow is very sturdy and well made. The assembly instructions are easy to follow and it even comes with the tools you need to assemble it. I encourage you to take your time assembling the crossbow especially if it is your first time putting one together. It is important that all the pieces get assembled correctly and that everything is tightened down correctly. After all, you don’t want it coming apart when you are trying to fire it.
This is the first firing video:
This is not a toy. This is a serious weapon that will easily take down a large animal such as a deer. When target shooting be sure to have a sturdy backstop. The arrows travel fast and far!
