Jellied Apple Squares

  • 3 medium apples, sliced into thin slices. Peeling is optional
  • 2 c water
  • 2 c unsweetened apple juice
  • 1/4 c Agar Agar Sea Vegetable Flakes
  • 2 tbsp Agar Agar Sea Vegetable Flakes
  • pinch salt


  1. Bring all ingredients except the salt to a boil.
  2. Reduce the heat to low and simmer gently, stirring occasionally, for just under 3 minutes.
  3. Pour the mixture into a jello mold or dish. Refrigerate until firm. This will take about an hour.
  4. Once the dessert is firm, cut into squares or unmold, slice and serve.
