Leader Accessories Crossbow Package 150lbs; 325fps Review

Sheri Ann Richerson from ExperimentalHomesteader.com is joined by Jeffrey Rhoades to talk about and test the Leader Accessories Compound Crossbow that she received for review. This is my second crossbow from Leader Accessories. This is my first one that is a compound crossbow. It does require some assembly out of the box but the strings on the bow are already in place so you don't need to worry about that. It comes with a quiver, padded sling, 4 20" aluminum arrows, rail lube wax, a 4x32 Aluminum Scope and a cocking rope - so you can assemble it and use it right away without needing any additional equipment other than a backstop if you are not hunting game. The assembly did take a little bit of muscle to get the bow on the barrel. Once the bow was in place, we put the screws in, tightened them down all the way, then took it out to fire it. Everything stayed in place and it worked great. We did not anticipate the amount of power this bow had so our arrows - even when we backed way up, went right through the hay bale we were using and into the ground. We did bend one arrow but we know by the tip of the arrow it hit something metal - possibly a fence post. This crossbow is heavier than the other one I own but that is to be expected. I can hold and shoot it just fine. I am 5' 1" and used to carrying hay bales although I do struggle with them. This is not something for a child - or even a teen. This is a real weapon meant for an adult. I think it is going to be great to use when deer season comes around again! I am very happy with this crossbow overall and do recommend it.
